Weekly Goals 2/8/10
Achievements
Welcome to Merin, our newest member!
Thank you to Maya for being a great facilitator and to Mackenzie and Maddie for bringing healthy snacks. We had a record breaking 43 students at our meeting.
We made about 300 valentines, many posters, and envelopes for each advisory for our sale. Thank you, Maddie, Louisa, Alexa, and Eva for cutting out the hearts.
We had a great all school assembly with Elaine and then an afternoon workshop with her. We ate delicious snails and mice, played team building games, and learned more about her experience in Kenya.
We’ve given presentations to all advisories except Ms. Wright’s. Maddie and Sunanna will give this presentation.
Kiera was absent, but she’ll hopefully get back to us with an update on the price of water bottles for Water Week.
Thank you, Louisa and Anna, for speaking at the Project Healthy Schools/Life in Action presentation last week. They did a spectacular job!
Charlotte will write an announcement about our being awarded the Adopt-a-Village Matching Fund $5000 grant for the second year in a row.
Tess was interviewed by A2A3 for their newsletter. Hali is in the process of being interviewed. Mackenzie hasn’t been contacted, yet.
